Biomedical imaging is an interdisciplinary field that brings together biology, medicine, physics, chemistry, and even art. This MSc in Advanced Biomedical Imaging is for scientists, technicians and clinicians who want to begin a career in the exciting field of imaging. The MSc focuses on translational biomedical imaging, such as MRI or optical imaging, to detect, monitor and prevent diseases including cancer, heart failure and neurodegeneration. Students will undertake an independent research-based project in UCL’s world-class laboratories and be closely linked to The UCL Centre for Advanced Biomedical Imaging, a unique research environment with 11 state-of-the-art imaging technologies.
