Accommodation

Following our exciting move to Chiswick Park in West London, we are now offering managed student accommodation for both undergraduate and postgraduate degree students.

We have three recommended providers for this accommodation – iQ (until June 2024), Lamington Apartments (September 2024 semester only) and AES.

AES ➝

We offer managed accommodation with AES in two of their locations – West Kensington and Tower Hill, further details are provided below.

Rooms hosted by AES are in shared spaces with four to six students in each apartment which is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends from the university and across London.

Lamington Apartments ➝

We can also offer a further great accommodation option in Hammersmith for September 2024 semester only, Lamington Apartments.

For more options with other private providers, we have also included some suggestions below.

If you need somewhere to stay while you look for accommodation, please visit our short stay options page, which may also be a handy reference for visiting friends and family in the future.

iQ ➝

Only available until 4 June, our accommodation with iQ is at Haywood House in West Hampstead, a 25 minute, one-train journey from Chiswick Park. The accommodation offers en suite rooms in shared apartments and studios with a range of attractive social spaces, regular events and great onsite facilities, including a gym, cinema and free, super-fast WiFi.

This managed accommodation features our award-winning student support system including Resident Assistants (RAs) and Resident Directors (RDs). The Residence Life team, who are student staff living in the same accommodation, know the University and London well so are excellent resources in the first weeks of term. They also support students throughout their stay, providing active pastoral care through guidance and advice.

Alternative student accommodation providers

There are many student accommodation companies in London. Facilities are varied, but they offer an opportunity to live in accommodation with other international students around the city centre. Richmond’s semesters start earlier than most UK universities, and finish in early May– so be sure to check they can house you from your start date, and that your contract does not run too late into the summer (unless you plan to stay in London).
