Anglia Ruskin University is an ambitious, global university where careers begin. Recently named in The Times Higher Education as the only UK university to be a ‘rising star’, we’re predicted to be challenging the global elite by 2030*. Students from 177 countries around the world gain qualifications with us in four continents.
2016 has seen Anglia Ruskin University listed in the Times Higher Education’s (THE) World University Rankings for the first time – being named as one of the top 350 institutions in the world and in the UK’s top 40 universities. The rankings, headed by the University of Oxford, are the only global university performance table to judge world-class universities across all their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
We’re proud to educate the future professionals that will shape our world. We’ve six research institutes dedicated to tackling pressing issues, from conserving our precious natural resources to saving lives through pioneering surgery.
At Anglia Ruskin, you’ll be part of a thriving community of people keen to get on, led by inspiring and award-winning tutors. From day one, we’ll help you work towards your ambitions, graduating with the skills and qualities valued the world over. You'll benefit from our many industry links – we work with some of biggest brands such as Barclays, Harrods, Wilmot Dixon, the NHS and the Ministry of Defence. Many of our courses are also recognised by industry and a large number of them are professionally accredited.
Our campuses are located across four vibrant cities in the UK; Cambridge, Chelmsford, London and Peterborough. We've invested over £100 million into new facilities over the past five years and plan to invest a further £91 million over the next five years to provide our students with learning environments they’re likely to come across in the real world of work. At ARU you'll be fully supported by our friendly, award-winning Services Team who provide advice on all aspects of student life, such as money, accommodation, health & well-being, study skills and employability.
