Where you live affects your studies. It’s important to find a place where you can be happy. Everyone’s desired home is different, so there are different types of accommodation for you to choose from at AUB, each offering something unique - from the hustle and bustle of the town centre to the quiet of residential streets.
We have five Halls of Residence available to our students. Each one has regular buses to get you from A to B, as well as well-marked cycle routes to AUB and cycle racks to safely stow your bike.
But halls aren’t for everyone. Choosing to live in private rented accommodation will mean more independence, a peaceful environment and you could even save a bit of money. Many of our students live in rented housing in areas including Bournemouth, Boscombe, Winton, Charminster, and Wallisdown.
Student Services can help you to find and arrange private accommodation. aubstudentpad.co.uk lists the details of properties registered with AUB. Each of the landlords advertised is registered with a national or local landlord accreditation scheme.
We organise accommodation days in July and August. These days are a chance for you to meet other students and some of our registered landlords. You can find some housemates and use us as a base for the day whilst you go off house hunting, and you can also use the opportunity to visit the campus and surrounding area before starting your course.
