Facilities and Graduate employability

Facilities at Kingston

We want to give you the best possible student experience and this means you’ll need world-class facilities. That’s why we’re investing £118.7 million in our campuses to create the perfect study environment for you, including our brand new landmark Town House building. We think you’re going to love it.

Kingston University

Town House, which is located at our Penrhyn Road campus, opened in January 2020 and provides outstanding study facilities for students, including a new library with over 1,000 study spaces, flexible learning areas, a covered courtyard, cafes, dance studios, performances spaces and roof top gardens.

Our University is fully equipped for studying, researching, and revising. We give you the opportunity to learn and really practise your skills with specialist learning facilities, with the help of our friendly, supportive and technical staff.

Each campus houses facilities that are relevant to the subject areas taught there, so you can step out of the classroom right into the courtroom, crime-scene, clinical lab, creative suite and many more practical learning environments.

Graduate employability

Our proactive and student-focused team will support you throughout your time at Kingston and after you graduate, not only to find a job but also to develop the skills you need to succeed in it.

They’ll help you develop the all-important employability skills you need, from creating a winning CV, delivering the perfect pitch, and how you can nail that interview. They’ll also help you get to know yourself, your strengths, your aspirations and the things you need to work on for a successful career for life.

If you’re thinking about becoming your own boss or are looking to develop entrepreneurial skills, our entrepreneurship programme, Enterprise! has you covered. We run an annual Bright Ideas competition that will give you the chance to develop an idea, have it evaluated and win a prize. You’ll also have important skills to add to your CV.

With 95% of our graduates in work or further study six months after graduating (HESA 2015/16), you’ll leave with a bright future ahead of you.
