Northumbria University

Northumbria is a research-rich, business-focused, professional university with a global reputation for academic excellence. Located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne and is one of the largest universities in the UK with almost 30,000 students from over 130 countries.

Over the past decade much of the campus has undergone significant development and renovation with over £250 million pounds worth of investment. Which has created outstanding new facilities for students, including a new Student Central zone around the award winning library, and new buildings for students on Computing and Information Sciences and Architecture and Built Environment courses.

Northumbria students have also benefitted from investment particularly in sporting facilities at Sport Central. Home to an Olympic Swimming pool, climbing wall and industry standard fitness suite – the site is also home to the most successful British Basketball team, the Newcastle Eagles. For more information, why not visit:

Northumbria University spans over four distinct sites, City Campus, Coach Lane, the satellite site in London and the newest, Amsterdam. The City Campus site is just a stone’s throw away from the city centre whilst Coach Lane is located three miles further away but is supported by a free bus service between the main site and Coach Lane.
