Nottingham Trent University (NTU) – named the 2017 UK University of the Year in the Times Higher Education awards – is one of the largest and most popular universities in the UK. At NTU, you’ll get a student experience that’s hard to match – quality courses and facilities across four unique campuses in the heart of one of the UK’s best student cities.
Our courses are designed to give you the skills employers are looking for. That’s why every one of them, across every subject area, offers you a work experience opportunity. According to the 2016/17 DLHE survey, 97% of our graduates were in employment or further study just six months after graduating from NTU.
The Guardian University Guide 2019, published in May 2018, shows that NTU has risen to 16th place in the overall table – a jump of 18 places.
This follows a string of successes for the University in the past academic year. As well as being named University of the Year in the Times Higher Education awards, we recorded some of the highest student satisfaction levels in the country in the 2018 National Student Survey, and achieved the TEF gold standard for the quality of our teaching. We’ve also recently achieved our highest ever ranking in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide. A climb of ten places to 37th in this year’s guide caps a remarkable year for us.
