Plymouth Marjon University sits on a green and spacious campus, with world-class facilities, in a spectacular part of the world. Here, through small and manageable class sizes, students build strong working relationships with a network of supporters including their Personal Development Tutor, lecturers and the Student Union.
Marjon’s supportive community, resources and personal educational style leads to happy and successful students with the university being ranked 12th in the UK for Student Satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2018 (NSS). In all question areas of the NSS, Marjon ranked above or matching sector, with students showing their delight with the supportive teaching and learning style, with a 91% satisfaction rate with “the teaching on my course” and 90% satisfaction with “learning opportunities”.
Aside from being awarded a silver award in the 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework, Marjon’s dedication to leaving students confident, happy and capable of forging a lifelong successful career is proven with 95% of graduates in work or further study.*
The University’s areas of specialism include teaching, sport, health and wellbeing, social sciences, business and performing arts. Students work in cutting edge facilities, including live music studios, a crime scene house, journalism newsroom, sports science laboratories and health science clinics in which students work closely with members of the public.
The Campus offers a new student bar, swimming pool and gym, world-class sports facilities, new Student Hub for support services, computer games room and an Arts Centre with a large theatre. Marjon’s campus is well connected with a regular bus service to the city centre, where you can enjoy the dazzling views and waterfront of Plymouth.
