About St George’s
At St George’s, University of London, we’ve been improving health for over 250 years. As the UK’s specialist health university, we are the only UK university to share a campus with a teaching hospital which means students are immersed in a professional environment from day one. Our teaching is intertwined with medical and healthcare practice and most of our lecturers are clinically active or have extensive clinical experience.
We offer a wide array of undergraduate courses which are designed to meet students’ career ambitions and to stimulate academic and personal development while promoting critical thinking and a professional approach. St George’s is tackling today’s challenges head-on, such as the work our researchers, staff and students are currently undertaking to combat Covid-19. By studying with us, students will join a community that is making a difference.

Our undergraduate courses equip students with the skills and knowledge to move into a wide range of careers in medicine, research, healthcare and industry. In fact, St George’s is ranked within the top five universities in the UK for graduate prospects (The Complete University Guide 2022). Our courses are taught by leading clinicians who currently, or have previously held positions in the NHS or private clinics as healthcare professionals, so students will learn from academics with real on-the-job experience. As a specialist institution, we also have established strong relationships with healthcare providers throughout London to help provide our students with clinical placements in hospitals and other health settings.
