Come and explore our creative campuses and find out why UCA has been named ‘Modern University of the Year’ in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide.
We have a long history of nurturing artists, designers, architects, writers, animators, filmmakers, illustrators, photographers, actors and more, which is why 96.9% of our graduates are employed or in further study within six months of graduating.
Our Farnham campus is our largest, offering a creative hub for a wide range of subjects including Architecture, Fine Art, Illustration & Animation, and Graphic Design. At our open day, you’ll meet our industry-focused teaching staff and discover the impressive array of resources that’ll be at your fingertips, including dedicated studio spaces, high-quality equipment and endless creative encouragement.
Our FE Open Evening is a great way to visit your chosen campus and get an idea of what the courses are like. You may also want to spend some time in the local areas visiting the close-by town centres.
At our FE Open Evening you will have the opportunity to:

Overview of the campus
Come to the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and you’ll find a thriving hub of collaborative creativity. Based in the UK’s designated Craft Town, our Farnham campus is a vibrant community of artists, designers and creative arts professionals, all of whom will provide a huge amount of support and enable you to create extraordinary, innovative work that opens the door to your future career.
With over 2,000 students, Farnham is the biggest of our campuses and has an incredibly strong community feel. The campus is home to the James Hockey and Foyer Galleries, which host a range of exhibitions by visiting artists as well as our staff, students and graduates.
The campus has an extensive range of up-to-date resources that you can use, including glassblowing furnaces, radio and TV studios, a cinema, darkrooms and metal and wood workshops. You can have an induction in any one of these and include the practices in your work, making UCA Farnham an innovative place to study.
We have been named Modern University of the Year 2019 by the Times and the Sunday Times University Guide. Come and find out why and get a feel for UCA Farnham at one of our next Open Days.
