There’s no better way to find out about the University than to come for a visit. Our Open Days give you a real flavour of what it’s like to be an undergraduate, postgraduate or part-time student at Kent.
You can explore our beautiful parkland campus, get a feel for the area, find out more about university life from our current students and discover whether a course is right for you. You’ll be able to discuss your options with admissions staff on a one-to-one basis and get involved in a range of activities including talks by academic schools, sample lectures, workshops and demonstrations.
We’ll be showing a range of our on-campus student accommodation, plus you can visit the teaching facilities, the library, the sports centre, the Students’ Union and our arts complex, which includes a centre for music performance, a theatre and a cinema.
Please check the subjects offered at each location before booking at http://www.kent.ac.uk/courses/
Please go to www.kent.ac.uk/opendays. Online booking will be available approximately four weeks prior to the event.

The University of Kent provides outstanding teaching, excellent employability and fantastic student support.
Our teaching was awarded gold, the highest rating, in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). We are proud to be a global university and we have students from 159 nationalities studying at Kent. Many of our degrees offer opportunities to study and work abroad and we have an extensive study abroad programme thanks to our links with universities across the world.
We’ll inspire you to be inquisitive, ask questions and think independently. Through activities including volunteering, sports and societies, work experience, and Study Plus courses you can take alongside your degree, you’ll develop the #gradgoals that employers are looking for: confidence, creativity and innovation, critical reflection, global/cultural awareness, integrity and accountability, intellectual curiosity and resilience.
We have a great employability record and our Careers and Employability Service provides advice and guidance throughout your degree, and for up to three years after graduation. Of Kent undergraduate students who graduated in 2017, over 95% of those who responded to a national survey were in work or further study within six months (DLHE).
Our commitment to ensuring all our students enjoy a nurturing and supportive environment has been nationally recognised, and we’ve won the Outstanding Support for Students category at the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards for two years running (2017 and 2018). Our extensive academic and personal support services are available to help you make the most of your university experience and help you achieve your ambitions.
Our campuses at Canterbury and Medway have a great atmosphere, first-class facilities and a fantastic sense of community. Kent Union, our students’ union, offers over 200 sports clubs and societies, plus they can also help you get a part-time job while you study.
