University of Lincoln

The University is proud of our reputation for providing a high quality student experience underpinned by inspirational teaching. We were awarded Gold – the highest standard possible - in the national Teaching Excellence Framework, which reflects our exciting teaching, great support for students and excellent employment outcomes.

Lincoln has continued to rise in the league tables, and is now ranked 22nd in the Guardian University Guide, and our students are some of the most satisfied in the UK, ranking us in the top ten for student satisfaction in the National Student's Survey. In addition to providing an excellent student experience, 96% of our most recent graduates were in work or further study six months after finishing their course with more than 80 per cent in graduate level roles, according to the most recent Destination of Higher Education Leaver’s Survey.

Lincoln is a fabulous place to live and study, with our main campus located next to the picturesque Brayford Pool marina in the heart of the thriving city centre. Lincoln is a safe and friendly place with everything a student needs, from bespoke accommodation, to shops, bars and restaurants, just a short walk from campus.

The University is recognised as setting a blueprint for excellence in teaching and learning through its pioneering approach to working with industry. Our unique relationships with companies such as Siemens and the Lincolnshire Co-op demonstrate our innovative industry-engaged approach. This has been acknowledged through a series of national awards and accolades, including a Lord Stafford Award and a Times Higher Education Award.

The University is also home to world-class researchers who are making profound contributions to their subject areas. From developing new medical technologies to preserving rare architectural treasures, the work of Lincoln’s academics and students makes a real difference to society. There are opportunities to work alongside our world-renowned academics on research that makes a tangible difference to society.

A new medical school is to be established in an exciting collaboration between the University of Lincoln and the University of Nottingham to offer first-class medical education in Lincolnshire. Students will study for a University of Nottingham BMBS medical degree at the University of Lincoln site on the Brayford Pool.

The best way to find out more about the University of Lincoln is to visit the campus on an Open Day, which take place throughout the year. Read more top reasons to come to the University of Lincoln here:
