Additional info
As the UK takes unprecedented steps to deal with the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we understand that this may be a challenging and uncertain time for you. We are here to support you and help you make the most of this time to prepare for your future.
While you are not able to visit us in person at the moment, you can still find out more about the University of Lincoln and what it is like to live and study here at one of our Virtual Open Days.
Just like our normal Open Days, these events allow you to find out more about the subject you are interested in, speak to staff and current students about their experiences of Lincoln, find out more about the support services available, and explore our campus and wider city.
Register your interest in attending one of our Virtual Open Days by selecting your preferred date below. If you have already booked to come along to one of our summer Open Days, you don’t need to register again.

Based in the heart of a beautiful and historic city, the University is proud of its reputation for providing a high quality student experience underpinned by inspirational teaching. The University is ranked in the top 20 UK universities in the Guardian University Guide 2020 and is rated Gold – the highest standard possible - in the national Teaching Excellence Framework, reflecting our exciting teaching, great support for students, and excellent employment outcomes.
The University of Lincoln is recognised as setting a blueprint for excellence in our pioneering approach to working with industry. Our unique relationships with companies such as Siemens, the Lincolnshire Co-operative, and Santander demonstrate our innovative industry-engaged approach. This has been acknowledged through a series of national awards over the past decade, including a prestigious Lord Stafford Award (2011) and a Times Higher Education Award (2012). This approach provides students with enhanced opportunities for work experience, networking, and access to latest industry trends. Employability is a key aspect of our programmes and 96% of our most recent graduates were in work or further study within six months finishing their course (according to the most recent Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey).
30,000 people came to an Open Day event at the University of Lincoln last year. We believe this should be a day that changes your life and that the whole family enjoy. You can explore our campus, speak to lecturers, attend subject talks for the courses you are interested in, meet current students, view our accommodation, and enjoy the range of additional activities and entertainment that give our Open Days that distinctive ‘festival feel’.
Open Days give our students and staff the opportunity to show off. Previously our Dance Society and music students have performed, and we have had robots, fire-breathers, Stormtroopers, and our mascot Swanny entertaining guests.
