We are a university dedicated to you and your future.
A new breed of university, we wholeheartedly believe in your potential and we're here to support your education, ambitions and wellbeing. Every step of the way.
All of our undergraduate students have opportunities to make them stand out from the crowd. You can:
- benefit from work-related learning experience as part of your course
- learn a foreign language completely free of charge
- get involved in local, national and international volunteering opportunities
As a student you'll work with business and industry professionals. Around half of our students study on courses which are accredited or validated by professional organisations, and many more of our degrees offer an accelerated route to qualifying with a profession or obtaining chartered status.
We prepare you for the real world of employment with ongoing careers support from the moment you start, to several years after you finish.
For 11 consecutive years, we scored an 88% satisfaction rate in the National Student Survey 2017. Nineteen of our courses achieved 100% satisfaction. Our performance indicators show that 96.5% of our graduates are working or in further study within six months of graduation.
We hold the Gold Standard from the UK government’s Teaching Excellence Framework. This government scheme recognises excellent teaching in UK universities. Gold is the highest accolade, and places us among the UK’s top universities for teaching and the top young universities globally.
