welcome to University of Chester

Our Chester campus is located inside the University of Chester’s multi-million pound Queen’s Park site.

About Chester

Studying at Chester provides you with the perfect combination of a historic city with modern amenities, and our teaching provision is just minutes away from Chester’s lively city centre. The cobblestone streets of this Roman-walled city are home to a range of great restaurants, bars and pubs to keep you entertained day or night.

We share a building with the University of Chester’s Business School in its Queen’s Park site, with a spacious library, computer suites, group study spaces and learning pods for quiet study, together with a coffee shop and open plan restaurant. The campus is easy to access from the city centre and is only a 20 minute walk from Chester railway station. In addition to everything on offer at Queen’s Park you also have access to The University of Chester’s Exton Park (Parkgate Road) site.

As a University of Law student at Chester, you will have Associate Student status at Chester Students’ Union, meaning you can use its facilities and join in with its societies. You’ll also have access to our dedicated employability team, based both locally and nationally, who can help you to obtain work experience and pro bono opportunities to help you boost your CV.

At Chester, our lecturers and staff are dedicated to helping you achieve your education and career ambitions. If you’re studying law with us, you will be able to benefit from our lecturers’ experience, as over 90% of them are qualified lawyers.

Please note that we do not currently sponsor students on the Student Route of the Points Based System at the University of Chester. If you require a Student Route visa to study at the University, why not consider applying to study at one of our other locations nationwide? Visit our visa requirements page for more information.
