At ARU, we know your accommodation is more than just a place to stay – it’s your sanctuary, social hub, and gateway to new friendships and experiences. That’s why most of our accommodation is located right on, or near, each of our campuses.

Cambridge and Chelmsford

In both Cambridge and Chelmsford, you’ll be close to city centres and railway stations. Whether you prefer the charm of traditional halls, the convenience of en-suite rooms, or the fun of shared flats and houses, we’ve got you covered.

Peterborough

Although we don’t manage accommodation in Peterborough, we recommend Taverners Hall by Symonds & Greenaway. It’s purpose-built for students, with your own shower, shared kitchens, free Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities – all the essentials!

If you’re studying nursing, midwifery, or operating department practice with placements in Peterborough, you can apply for short-term hospital accommodation.

Writtle

ARU Writtle offers 14 halls of residence set in beautiful gardens on the main campus. Your accommodation fee here even includes a meal allowance to use at our catering outlets. Join friends for evening meals and Sunday lunches at the Garden Room restaurant and enjoy our daily changing themed menus.
