Bournemouth is one the UK’s top tourist destinations with seven miles of sandy beaches. Our location is not just beautiful, but it shapes who we are; our research and courses are informed by our rich environment, not least the Jurassic Coast and New Forest, which are on our doorstep.
Bournemouth is a lively, cosmopolitan town with a large student community that gives you a wide range of options when it comes to socialising with your friends. That could mean taking advantage of our seaside location to learn to surf, lying in the sun at the weekend, or enjoying Bournemouth’s vibrant night life. Our Student Union even has its own nightclub, The Old Fire Station.
Extensive rail, road, air and sea links make Bournemouth very accessible. London is less than two hours by train and the ever-expanding Bournemouth International Airport provides an excellent gateway to Europe.
Bournemouth is not only a great place to study, but also a great place to live. Perhaps that’s why so many of our graduates choose to stay in Bournemouth and benefit from our growing digital economy.
We have two campuses; our main campus, Talbot Campus, is an easy ten-minute bus ride away from Bournemouth town centre. Lansdowne Campus is based in the centre of town and hosts the majority of our Halls of Residence, as well as our Faculty of Health & Social Sciences, alongside the Executive Business Centre for postgraduate business courses.
