Welcome to Liverpool Hope
With over 175 years of teaching experience behind us, students at Liverpool Hope University benefit from the best of both worlds; a rich academic environment on two beautiful teaching campuses, while also having all the advantages of one of Europe’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities.
We are a University that is committed to providing a personal education, with a focus on small group teaching. At Hope, you will be a part of a tight-knit community that will encourage you to explore your potential.
Over the last decade, we have funded major developments across our campuses to benefit students, and are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to help support subjects in the Arts & Humanities, Education and Science areas. State-of-the-art laboratories, workspaces and tutorial rooms, as well as our libraries which house over 350,000 items, allow our students to carry out collaborative and experiential learning using the latest technologies and techniques.
And in 2023, we look to continue improving facilities for our students with the unveiling of our new IQ building, providing an innovative learning and social space on our Hope Park campus. The building will feature a sophisticated Simulation Lab equipped with state-of-the-art Virtual Reality software.

At Hope, you’re not just a number. Our campuses are like villages in the city where you’re part of a community and our lecturers know you by name.
Our largest campus, Hope Park, is a friendly educational village with places to live, work, study, eat and relax. It is situated in a leafy suburb of Liverpool, just four miles from the city centre. It offers all our students excellent facilities in beautiful surroundings and a warm welcome.
Our Creative Campus is close to Liverpool city centre and is home to our School of Creative and Performing Arts. Here, you can learn your craft in the inspirational setting of Grade II-listed buildings and state-of-the-art performance spaces.
Aigburth Park is a residential student village three miles from the city centre and Hope Park. The halls are set in private landscaped gardens and there is a wealth of shops, banks, bars and restaurants located nearby. Liverpool’s most famous park, Sefton Park, is also in the immediate vicinity.

With around 50,000 students living in the city, Liverpool is a city like no other and is the ideal location to study. From world-famous architecture and magnificent museums, to music legends revolutionising popular culture, Liverpool has always been a hub of creativity.
