The bustling city centre offers a variety of good-value restaurants, independent cafés, theatres, nightclubs and festivals. It features a unique blend of independent boutiques, high street chains, shopping malls and an open-air market, set amidst a maze of pretty cobbled streets. Norwich has a thriving cultural scene and the centre is steeped in history, with many historic buildings, including two cathedrals, a Norman castle and well preserved city walls.
