A history of firsts
We are proud to be Britain’s first Royal Polytechnic institution, founded in 1838. We boast a rich history and continue to provide students with academic excellence, cultural engagement and personal enrichment.
Award-wining facilities and resources
We have four campuses located across central London and Harrow in North West London. Our Regent Campus is situated on Regent Street near the bustling Oxford Circus shopping district.
Marylebone Campus is located next door to Baker Street, opposite the famous Madame Tussauds. Only a 20 minute tube ride from central is our Harrow Campus, home to our creative Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design.
We continue to invest in improving the learning environment for students. Over £60 million has been invested in our facilities and resources. As the birthplace of British Cinema, the University also boasts a new state-of-the-art cinema open to the public and all students as a unique arts venue for screenings, lectures, workshops and events.
Globally-engaged and pioneering
With a clear vision for the future, the University will embed internationalisation, employability and sustainability into all areas of its work, and place particular emphasis on international opportunities and work placements to support students in becoming highly employable, globally engaged and socially responsible.
