Our frontline team at MyBradford can support you with any day-to-day issues or put you in contact
with our specialist services.
The Counselling Service provides confidential support to all our students and is independent of
academic studies. You can book one-to-one counselling sessions to help work through any issues,
and we also offer daily drop-in sessions.
Our Disability Service can help you access support, and new students have the chance to be
screened for specific learning difficulties like dyslexia and dyspraxia. We put together a Learner
Support Profile for all students declaring a disability, with actions to support them.
As well as this support, our Student Life Service can help you to develop essential skills including
budgeting and cooking. All students are allocated a Personal Academic Tutor, who will act as a
mentor and be there to support you, whilst our Academic Skills Advice Service can help you to
develop your study, academic writing and maths skills.
