- A warm welcome: Upon arrival you’ll enjoy a welcome talk from one of our most senior leaders who will introduce you to Derby and set the scene for the day ahead. Welcome talks are held at both Kedleston Road and Markeaton Street, depending on the course you’re most interested in. There’s limited, first-come-first-served free parking at our Kedleston Road site, DE22 1GB.
- Multi-award-winning accommodation: With our fixed price rent and all-inclusive bills, newly refurbished rooms and residence life programme, there’s no surprise our halls of residence were voted Best University Housing for the fourth year running in the Global Student Living Awards (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025).
- Provisional offers - If you have your grades, or predicted grades, and they meet our entry requirements, our Admissions team may be able to give you an offer in principle. This means that we will chat to you about your hopes and dreams for the future and give you advice on how to submit an awesome personal statement in order to secure a conditional offer to study with us. Our experts will also talk you through the UCAS application process and answer any question you may have.
