Students Union

UEA Students’ Union is an independent organisation that represents UEA students’ interests and provides central services and support for all students.

The Union is home to The LCR, a 1,500 capacity venue on campus, attracting touring bands and artists as well hosting regular club nights. Recent high profile performers include Bombay Bicycle Club, Coldplay, Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks, Years and Years, Professor Green, Kaiser Chiefs, Example, Noah and the Whale, and The Vaccines.

Our student union has over 200 active societies and sports clubs from Baking to Yoga, there’s something for everyone. And if there isn’t a group to suit you, the Student Union will help you set up a new one. Taking part in a club or society is a great way to meet new people, indulge a passion and take a break from your studies. Plus it’s great preparation for your future career.
