We’re located in Hatfield, a town of around 40,000 people located 25 minutes north of London by train. Hatfield has a large student population, with plenty of things to do in the local area.
You can enjoy a range of eateries, pubs, bars and coffee shops catering to all tastes and dietary requirements. Just a short trip away are open green spaces and beautiful countryside.
Students’ Union
Hertfordshire Students’ Union (Herts SU) ensures that all students’ best interests are represented within the University . It hosts events for students year-round, runs an on-campus nightclub, and supports societies in bringing students together.
Herts SU is the heart of student life at Herts, with a dedicated team of officers who provide students with advice and support.
Clubs and Societies
Herts SU offers over 100 special interest societies for students to participate in. Societies are run by committees of students who get to decide what their society does throughout the year, all the while developing their own leadership skills.
Every Herts School of study benefits from academic societies, but students can also enjoy active, cultural, dance, faith, music and social societies.
