Overview

Where could Kent take you?

University is about more than a degree, it’s about having the opportunities, support and experiences to make the most of your time here. At Kent, we’ve built that in from day one.

You’ll benefit from a guaranteed internship and employer-led projects, helping you build experience, confidence and connections for the future.

You’ll learn from leading experts, explore the latest thinking, debate the big issues and develop your own ideas. You can also broaden your degree with many of our undergraduate courses offering the opportunity to take a year in industry giving you the chance to gain valuable real-world experience alongside your studies. And if you want to explore the world, many courses offer the option of a Year Abroad.

There’s guaranteed accommodation, affordable meal deals on campus and free sports membership in your first year so there’s less to worry about and more time to focus on what matters.

You’ll also make new friends and become part of our welcoming student community. With 250+ clubs and societies, and students from more 100 nationalities, there’s plenty of opportunities to meet new people, try something new and pursue the things you enjoy.

Our support services can help with a wide range of needs, including academic, financial and wellbeing support when and if you need it.

There’s more flexibility, too. A student-friendly timetable helps you fit university around your life, with more space to study, work, socialise and recharge. Add 300 acres of beautiful green campus, a vibrant city on your doorstep, 50 beaches nearby and less than an hour from London by train, there’s plenty to explore beyond your studies.
