The University of Northampton is home to a whopping 40+ sports clubs, and it’s one of the first and only universities in the country to offer completely free membership to these clubs, meaning you won’t have to pay any fees to join, for kit or to attend trips and events.
The Students’ Union has a range of societies focusing on everything from Doctor Who and Harry Potter to cake-making and music. Plus, if your interests aren’t catered for, you can always start your very own society ─ you only need seven members to get going.
There’s also The Platform, our independent Students’ Union venue in the heart of town hosting all of your regular students nights and freshers’ activity, plus a great meeting location for a daytime coffee.
