Accommodation
Our halls are woven into the city centre, around the buildings of our campus. You’re always close to shops, restaurants and entertainment, with public transport links on your doorstep. And the beach is only a short walk away. There’s a choice of accommodation to suit a range of budgets, including: self-catered or catered, en suite or shared bathrooms, shared flats or corridor rooms, studio flats, accessible rooms and designated quieter areas.
The Residence Life team provides wellbeing and support services in halls, 24/7. We guarantee all new first-year undergraduates a place in halls if you make us your firm first choice and meet accommodation deadlines.

PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION
Plenty of our students choose to live in private housing, so there’s a wide range of options for all budgets near the University – and rents in Portsmouth are among the most affordable in the south east of England. If you prefer this option, our Student Housing team will support you every step of the way, just like they do with our halls of residence. You can access house hunting information on our Student Home Portal, search for the latest rooms and houses on our dedicated Studentpad site, and go to events where you can find your new home and people to share it with.
