Students in Southampton have a range of accommodation open to them, living in either University halls or private rented accommodation. There are over 7000 halls rooms in 10 locations, and all undergraduates are guaranteed a place in their first year if they apply before 1 August.
Accommodation with shared facilities and en-suite bathrooms is available, and there are both self-catered and catered options.
All students living in University halls get a free UniLink bus pass to make travel around the easy and accessible.

A social complex close to Highfield campus.

Glen Eyre
A large self-catered complex with various amenities and green spaces.

Liberty Point
Modern self-catered halls with en-suite rooms, close to the city centre.

Highfield Hall
A smaller complex close to both Highfield and Avenue campuses, offering part-catered accommodation.

Archers Road
Self-catered halls close to the city centre.

New halls in the city centre with regular bus links to both Highfield and Avenue campuses.

City Gateway
Our newest halls with self-catered rooms and flats within walking distance of Highfield Campus.

Erasmus Park – Winchester
A self-catered halls with en-suite rooms, 15 minutes’ walk from Winchester campus.

Flats and houses

We have some Private rented accommodation available for couples or families.
