If you’re applying for a full-time undergraduate degree, Sheffield Hallam guarantees to offer you accommodation in halls for your first year.
The University has one of the largest selections of student accommodation in the UK, with 13 halls available. All the accommodation is within a 20-minute walk of the campuses, with many on the doorstep.
Sheffield is one of the cheapest cities in the UK for student accommodation (Cushman & Wakefield 2023), averaging just £130 per week, with some halls starting from under £100. All bills are included too.
Students have access to university support services and all the University’s halls are registered with the Snug housing standard.

Sheffield has nearly 70 gig venues, the UK's largest community of artists and designers outside London, and a calendar of major festivals covering everything from music, film to comedy.
