Sheffield Hallam University is one of the UK's largest universities with over 31,000 students across two campuses. We’ve invested £100 million in buildings and facilities over the last five years. As a progressive university, we’re continually investing in innovative, flexible and sustainable spaces that enhance the Sheffield Hallam experience.
Sheffield is the fifth biggest city in the UK with over 60,000 students, the same percentage of green space as Brazil and pretty much everything is in walking distance.
We offer over 700 courses across four faculties. The main faculties are:
• Arts, Computing, Engineering and Sciences
• Development and Society
• Health and Wellbeing
• Sheffield Business School
We offer real work experience opportunities, with our students working in unique roles at the Olympic Games, Doc/Fest and Tramlines (Sheffield's city wide music festival).
We have relationships with over 3,500 organisations, including the BBC, Sony, NHS and Rolls-Royce, enabling us to offer thousands of placements every year.
Our university has two campuses; City Campus, which is the first thing you see when you come out of the train station, and Collegiate Campus in the leafy student area of Ecclesall Road (just 15 minutes' walk away).
